Pirate....Ninjas would be too much like Sins
Would Pi/Mo (Pirate/Monk) make a good substitution for W/Mo? If so what skills would the use instead of Healing Signet and Frenzy?

Yes the Pimmo (Pi/Mo) would. And i think "Walk The Plank!" and "Shiver Me Timbers!" combined with Mending would make for an interesting combo.
Any ideas on what weapon the Pirate would use?

Because then you don't need to equip their weapon....they're already "holding" the hook...
What would a Pirate's primary attribute be and what would increasing the attributes in it do for the class?

It would be:
LandLubber Mastery - Increases the chance of gold (both money and gold items) from Chests, 2% per level.
Would this make a good Pirate Elite: "Avast u Scury dawgs!"- All Enemys withing ear shot can no longer attack but run 25% for 5 seconds.?

What attribute is it tied to? Hook mastery or Scurvyness?
